Independent Hydro Workers (IHW) was designed to represent a group of independent individuals working in the hydro industry. Over the years, the one thing that kept occurring to us, was that these individuals needed a common central contact. Somehow, we have been privileged enough to represent some of the finest the industry has to offer, and in return, that is what we can offer to you.
At IHW, we believe our workers come first. We represent those who are highly skilled and bring with them combined countless years of experience in the Hydro Turbine Industry. Our team members are committed to their passion and have come up through the ranks, giving them the hands-on field qualifications they need. Knowing each of our workers on a personal individual basis, allows us to find you the most compatible individual(s) for your needs so you can focus on successfully completing the job. We fully believe in our men and their capabilities. After working wth them, we know you will ask yourself how you ever got by without them!
When working with IHW, you will always interact with the same office personnel to minimize any confusion and to allow for a relationship to build. We all understand the sacrifices involved, including that of the client/customer. We respect that interest and always do our best to protect it.

Rache’ has been around the world of turbines and millwrights for nearly 30 years. Being married to a traveling millwright, while raising three children, she is very familiar with the struggles and trials that come with working away from home and traveling with family. Also, having experienced running the office on a $30+ million dollar project of a hydro site herself, she is familiar with the day to day dynamics that happen both in the field and office. She is very comfortable working both sides of the fence to make sure all entities are treated fair and with respect. The idea of IHW is to help ensure the workers and the client are able to work together so BOTH parties have a SUCCESSFUL project.
